About Me
I have worked in marine insurance for nearly 30 years. My C-Suite operational leadership incorporates the responsibility of Corporate Governance, HR, L&D, IT and the Company Secretariat.
I have been an instrumental member of the Directorate in leading the development of the company’s successful international business strategy for the last 10 years.
As a Board Director I am well-versed in regulatory requirements and was solely responsible for the numerous directives that needed to be implemented. As an example, I designed the successful implementation of SM&CR within my previous Company. Key to this was identifying how the new directive would work and disseminating the information throughout the Company, as well as putting in place the required systems and controls to ensure compliance.
In addition, I was responsible for the following:
- Operational requirements during an MBO and a subsequent sale
- Design and implementation of GDPR
- Design and implementation of the HR systems and controls and the ongoing people management (performance issues, policies, procedures etc)
- Design of the annual L&D programme
- IT Strategy Leadership
- Design and implementation of the Return to Office COV-id plan for three companies
- Project managed office moves for 150 people
